Exam successes

23rd November 2019

Another successful season for our trainees with exams:

Dan, already a qualified Chartered Accountant and clearly thriving on exams pressure, is working towards his Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification.  Straight passes so far, next exam in November, last exam in May 2020 and then qualification!

Alex has passed some difficult exams recently – Advanced level Corporate Reporting and Strategic Business Management.  We are currently undertaking a rigorous quality assurance process, defined by the ICAEW to make sure that we sign Alex off as a fit and proper accountant worthy of the ACA accreditation.

Nicolette has done extremely well.  Having already passed the certificate level of her ACA level 7 apprenticeship, she has recently got impressive results in the modules for Law, Assurance and Principles of Taxation.  She has a big exam in December 2019 then five more to part qualification.

Bronwen works in our general practice department and has recently achieved outstanding results in the Personal tax and Business Tax papers leading to her level 4 apprenticeship qualification with The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).  She will then start on her level 7 ICAEW apprenticeship journey with us and the ICAEW.

Luke also works in our general practice department and has achieved some great exam passes in working towards his level 3 AAT apprenticeship qualification.  He has a portfolio and interview to complete before starting on his level 4 apprenticeship.

Caitlin is an apprentice who joined us after her A’ level exam successes in 2018 from The Stanway School.  Caitlin is training towards a qualification with The Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and will qualify within one year after detailed assessments and role simulation.  Caitlin has been working with our West Mersea office, on completely non related tax projects.

We are so proud of the successes of our team – they have worked so hard – Hard work and dedication always pays off.
